COURSE SCHEDULE

November 1, 2023: Corporate Transparency Act (Webinar)

The requirements of the Corporate Transparency Act go into effect on January 1, 2024 and many of your clients will face a new and burdensome compliance and reporting requirement. While not in place yet it appears that the Corporate Transparency Act will be a significant undertaking and thus clients will likely be turning to you to help them to meet their obligations and avoid the potential civil and criminal penalties. To make things even more complicated, the NYS Legislature has passed the LLC Transparency Act that, when signed by Governor Hochul, will require additional state mandated disclosures related to LLCs. The webinar will discuss the requirements that will come into effect in 2024 under the Corporate Transparency Act, the exemptions from the filing requirements, the penalties for failure to comply, and the proposed NYS LLC reporting rules.
