In this 3-part series we will discuss a number of issues related to the income tax consequences to clients on the sale of their business. Each session will focus on a particular issue that the CPA will be called on to assist with or advise on during the sale process.

The second part of the series’ focus will be on the tax issues for buyers and sellers where the business is established as an S Corporation. Included during this webinar will be a discussion of the difference between stock sales and asset sales. Specifically, the webinar will highlight the use of Section 338(h)(10), Section 336, and F reorganizations.
